Learning Labs
Where Theology Meets Practice
What Are Learning Labs?
Learning Labs are live sessions held throughout each term that focus on:
Leadership activation
Biblical Ministry Practice
Spiritual formation
Q&A with pastors and leaders
Real-time feedback and development
Whether you’re online or in-person, Learning Labs are designed to create high-impact environments where you can grow through engagement, reflection, and application.
Integrated Into Every Track
Each student—regardless of track or year at V1 College—participates in Learning Labs that reflect their area of development. Whether you’re on the Pastoral, Marketplace, or Creative track, your lab will align with your calling and help sharpen your practical skills.

How Learning Labs Work
Weekly Gatherings
You’ll meet regularly with your Track Leader and fellow students for hands-on leadership development. These sessions are crafted to give you a real ministry experience within the church or your sphere of influence.
Relational Coaching & Mentorship
Throughout your journey, you’ll build relationships with:
Track Coaches (Advanced Year only) for deeper mentorship
Team Members for collaborative ministry engagement
V1 College Faculty who help shape your growth spiritually and practically
Hands-On, Ministry-Based Learning
Whether you’re running a team huddle, preaching a sermon, creating content, or planning an outreach—Learning Labs give you space to practice, reflect, and grow with direct feedback.
Dynamic, Spirit-Led Environment
No two labs are the same. Expect Spirit-led discussions, breakout groups, leadership exercises, and the freedom to ask hard questions.
Why It Matters
You’re not just learning theory—you’re preparing for real-world ministry.
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. — James 1:22
Learning Labs help bridge the gap between information and transformation, so you can confidently lead yourself, lead leaders, and lead others.
